Self-assign allows you to see a list of available games that you are qualified to work and allows you to assign yourself to those games. You are immediately assigned to the games and your status is set to “Accepted.”

Note: Before you can self-assign. your assigner must first create self-assignable positions and also give you permission to self-assign. Contact your assigner if you have any questions about these steps.

  1. After signing in, click on your SCHEDULE tab.
  2. Click on the SELF ASSIGN sub-tab.
  3. Choose the start date for the date range you want to search.
  4. Use the drop-down menu if you want to choose a specific site; otherwise, leave it set to All Sites
  5. Leave the sport and level set to All Sports & Levels or choose a specific sport and level to search for. Select multiple options by either clicking and dragging, holding the CTRL key and clicking on multiple options, or clicking one option, holding the Shift key and choosing a second further option to select the range in between.
  6. Click the [Search] link.
  7. A list of self-assignable positions will appear to the right. If none are available, try adjusting your search criteria. If you still don't see any, these are some possible explanations:
    1. There are simply no more available self-assignable positions
    2. You have reached your daily limit for self-assignable positions
    3. There are no self-assignable positions within the date range you are allowed to search
  8. Find a position you want and click the [Go] link that appears to the far right.
  9. At this point, you may see a screen outlining a contract you are required to accept before you can officiate the game you have selected. Read the contract, then either click Accept or Decline.
  10. You will be returned to the Self-Assign screen. Here you will see some blue text telling you that the game has been successfully added to your schedule and at what position. For example: Successfully assigned as R on game #335. If you have reached your daily limit for self-assigning, you will see this red text as well: You have reached your daily limit. Please try again tomorrow. If you have not reached your daily limit, you can continue to self-assign until you do.
  11. On the left side of your screen, under the box for choosing Sport and Level, you will see the games that you have self-assigned today.
  12. Click the Exit button and you will return to your schedule. The game (or games) that you have self-assigned will now appear there.
